Lotachukwu Ugwu is an actress and model. She hails from Nsukka LGA of Enugu state and is a graduate of Agricultural Economics and Extension from the prestigious University of Benin. Lota discovered her passion for the arts as during a shoot while she was in secondary school when it was suggested to her that she could model and she took it up from there. She then realized her acting talent and decided to make a career out of it with little or no support.
Lota had a burning desire to go all out to develop her talent and establish herself as an actor and that desire led her to register at Royal Arts Academy and her career took flight after that.
Lota has featured in numerous popular and award-winning movies, some of which include; Iyore, Falling, The Arbitration, Fine Girl, Dognapped, The Wedding TV and a number of Africa Magic Original Film projects. She also played Kiki in the hit TV series Jenifa’s Diary, to mention but a few.
Lota describes her experience at Royal Arts Academy in her words “At the Royal Arts Academy, I realized I had much more potentials; all I needed was to be sieved. There, I was fine-tuned from what I was to what I am and the result is what you are seeing. The Royal Arts Academy is one place every aspiring actor or actress needs to visit. It’s a place where diamonds are polished, and the essence is brought out. I had a good time there; the experience was a sweet one. I learnt all I needed from my instructors, my acting skills were sharpened and I’m a better person today”.
Lota is definitely a star and we are extremely proud of her.
