REGISTRATION FOR 2018 BATCH B CLOSES ON THE 10TH OF MAY 2018

Are you interested in building a career in filmmaking with intensive training in the areas of Acting, Screenwriting, Directing and Editing, here is your chance to turn your passion into a profitable skill.

The application is now open for the 2018 Batch B session of Royal Arts Academy and registration is in progress.

Minimum entry requirements are candidates must possess an O’Level certificate WAEC or NECO with 5 credit passes including English Language and candidates must be 18 years of age.

WINNERS OF THE BODY LANGUAGE MOVIE CHALLENGE!

The Body Language Movie Challenge was a competition run by the Royal Arts Academy productions to create awareness for the movie ‘Body Language’. Five winners emerged and they have won various prizes such as a cash prize of N50,000, Scholarship to the Royal Arts Academy and other consolation prizes such as 100 per cent human hair etc. Check out the winning entries below;

PHOTOS: AT THE PRIVATE SCREENING OF ‘BODY LANGUAGE’!

The much anticipated movie ‘Body Language’ was screened to a select audience yesterday at the prestigious iMax cinemas in Lekki Phase 1, yesterday and it was something else. Several celebrities from Nollywood were there to lend their hand of support to film maker Emem Isong Misodi and the rest of the cast and crew. For the film itself, it is a must-see! Different, suspenseful, exciting… what else can we say? It is better watched to understand the feeling. Nollywood has cetainly upped its game and raised the bar with this movie. ROYAL ARTS ACADEMY PRESENTS DREAM CHASERS -THE REALITY SHOW

Royal Arts Academy the foremost school in the training of film makers in Nigeria is set to launch another first; that is the screening of a reality show revolving around students of the school.

Titled ‘Dream Chasers’, the series will focus on the will, skill, determination, persistence and creative stamina of talents at the Royal Arts Academy as they go through training, weekly tasks, games, exercises, and painstaking rehearsals to start a rewarding career in Nollywood. The top performing students at the end of the session will gain lead roles in Royal Arts Academy upcoming feature movies.

RAA ACTING ALUMNI: LOTA CHUKWU

Lotachukwu Ugwu is an actress and model. She hails from Nsukka LGA of Enugu state and is a graduate of Agricultural Economics and Extension from the prestigious University of Benin. Lota discovered her passion for the arts as during a shoot while she was in secondary school when it was suggested to her that she could model and she took it up from there. She then realized her acting talent and decided to make a career out of it with little or no support. Read More

RAA ACTING ALUMNA: ETINOSA IDEMUDIA

Etinosa Idemudia, popularly known as “The Edo Babe” is an actor, comedy content provider and event host. She hails from Edo state, but was born and raised in Warri, Delta State. She discovered her passion for the arts at an early age by engaging in monologues all by herself in her mother’s garden. Etinosa holds a degree in Computer Engineering from Covenant University. While in school, she found her way back to the arts and realized she had a special thing for comedy after she joined a drama-comedy group. She began hosting her friend’s events for fun and eventually decided to commercialize her craft by hosting corporate events for the company where she worked at the time.
